Ventura UWP Demo
The "Ventura UWP Demo" application in the Windows Store does not store or collect any personal information.
Ventura SQL Studio
Ventura SQL Studio is the program used to define recordsets and generate source code. Upon program startup, it will contact the venturatools.com website and check if there is a program update available. The request transmitted to the server contains a) The program version number, b) The product key (if any) used to activate the program, c) A 16-byte machine hash that is unique to the computer. This information is stored in my database. I use this information to create usage statistics, and detect license abuse. A purchased product key is linked to a person name and/or a company name.
