There are two ways to add a new record to the resultset.

The first is calling Resultset.Append:

rs.Append();

rs.Address = "Main street 100";

The second method is creating a new record object with the Resultset.NewRecord method, and adding it to the resultset later:

EmployeesRecord record = rs.NewRecord();

record.Address = "Main street 100";

rs.Append(record);

In the case of an "ObservableCollection" type of recordset that implements data binding, the second method makes sure that the new-item event (INotifyCollectionChanged) is only fired after the record columns are filled with data.
